AARGH! Happy Halloween!

We were pirates for Halloween this year. We set out trick or treating pretty early because we knew it was going to be a little chilly and of course the Utah game was on! The kids didn't last long trick or treating and Brooklyn was super excited to get home and pass out all of the candy we had. She loved passing out the candy more than she loved trick or treating. When we ran out, she would just give them candy from her own bag! I finally talked her into keeping what little candy she had gotten and turning out the lights. She wanted to make a sign so everyone would know...we are out of candy!

Pumpkin Carving Party

Here are some of our pumpkins we carved and the jack-o-lantern cake the kids helped me make.  I didn't get many pictures of our fun party or the kids dressed up but we still had lots of fun!

Pirate Island

We went to Orem to visit the Disney Store for some costumes.  They were unfortunatly out of what we wanted.  I remembered that Pirate Island was there and had wanted to take the kids.  When we walked in, Boston asked if we were going to go on the boat.  He thought we were on the pirate ride at Disneyland.  Although going to Orem does sometimes feel like going to another state, we were not in Disneyland.  It was alot of fun though.  They have a playland and an arcade where you earn tickets to buy things.  Brooklyn wanted to go back tomorrow!  Now after changing our minds a million times, we have finally decided that they are going to be pirates for Halloween.  No turning back now, the costumes are in the mail!  Nice forced smiles in the pictures too...

Flowers on the Grave

Brooklyn and Neci were outside for at least an hour decorating the Halloween decoration graves on Nana's lawn. This one is Brooklyn's grave.

Kid Pics!

I decided I wanted to have Kelly take some more pictures of my kids before she left and before it got too cold. They turned out really cute and I can't decide which ones I like the best! So I'll just post a ton!! Thanks Kelly for taking your Saturday to take their pictures. They look great!

Witches Night Out

Witches Night Out at Gardner Village was really fun. We went to dinner first at Mimi's at it took about 2 hours! Thinking it went until midnight, we didn't get there until about 9:40 and then found out it ended at 10:00. We missed out on some fun stuff but it was also fun to see all of the women dressed up and decked out!

Pumpkin Patch

We went to the pumpkin patch on a field trip and got some cute pictures!
